About Georgia
After completing the massage therapy certification program with Lotus Educational Institute, Georgia began practicing as a licensed massage therapist in July of 2023. She incorporates Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, and myofascial techniques to formulate a treatment that best suits each individual client. She also uses hot stone therapy and CBD products when indicated. For clients that are looking for a truly deep tissue massage, Georgia offers Ashiatsu: a modality in which the practitioner works with their feet to apply deeper, more compressive work.
Georgia has been in Carbondale for 28 years. She may be recognized from her work at Carbondale Animal Hospital and Peppinos Pizza. She also enjoys getting on the river, the ski-hill, climbing, volunteering with local farms, gardening, dancing, aerial silks, and cooking. As she became more attuned to her own health, the importance and need for massage therapy became apparent. Receiving massages helped promote and maintain her physical and mental health, and she wanted to provide this same experience to her community.
